I’m enamored of the color in this piece and in the repetition of the blue star fern shape. I don’t know if it is unique enough, or has that “je ne sais quoi” that makes it mine, so stay tuned to see if it pops up again, either tweaked or transformed. It’s composed of oil and wax impressions of leaves over a monotype on Rives BFK and several layers of oil and/ or wax and graphite, 29 x 21 inches, unnamed as yet.
