“Excavations” explores “themes of geological time and forms, slower paced growth and erosion, and our relation to our surroundings”. PILLAR is an artist-run exhibition space, newly opened in Concord, NH. The media on this show includes ceramic installation, ceramic vessels, printmaking, mixed media, encaustic and photographic works.  The exhibition includes work by Jonathan Mess (reclaimed ceramics), Julie Hamel (photographic media), Shino Takeda (hand-built vessels),  Cody Tamaian (wood-fired ceramic vessels), Ann Kinne (wood, metal and found objects), Victoria Elbroch (drawings, etching and paintings of ancient trees) and Al Jaeger (wood-fired ceramic works).
