SELECTIONS FROM THE YELLOW CHAIR SALONS

Since June of 2020, I have been studying with a wonderful group of artists in a virtual residency created by artist Michael David, the folks at M. David & Co. gallery in Bushwick, Cherie Mittenthal, and the fabulous staff at Truro Center for the arts at Castle Hill in Truro, Massachusetts. We have been working in our studios, and meeting every other week online for peer reviews, concentrated feedback, and sometimes intense discussions about our work, our narrative, our aspirations, and means of reaching the next level in our work. The program includes a “virtual studio visit” with New York artists, curators, writers, and gallerists.
One gift from the Yellow Chair Salon, and Castle Hill is a series of virtual exhibitions, curated by Michael David, that showcases the newest work from the 48 participating artists.
