This piece is on a dark handmade paper. I coated it it oil paint and cold wax medium, then impressed a fern leaf into the wet paint. I love that it is skeletal and incomplete. It’s 10 x 10 inches and part of a series of twenty or so pieces on this handmade paper. I haven’t worked out whether to mount them on panels or hang them together unframed.
