I wrote before about the text and Textiles collaborative project I am working on with Amherst poet, Ala Khaki. i will post again with a proper photo and the exhibition details. But for now…

Here’s the poem:

My life.
gives life.
My breath
is your breath.

Do you hear the chimes,
my whispers,
as the wind twirls
through me?
Do you listen?

Do you tread gently
on my leaves
as I shed them for you,
anxiously?

Do you hear
the coming winter
trotting ever closer?
