I have done two workshops with Deb. Both were productive, and I’d like to do more. I began with no experience with cold wax. Deb was well organized, presented the essential information in clear, logical steps, and designed an experiential component so that I took home samples to which I could refer. My studio is small, so I loved being in her spacious, light-filled studio. In the second workshop, I brought my own art, and she responded generously to my frequent questions.

Debra’s one-day workshop was like drinking from a firehose in the best way possible! She compresses decades worth of encaustic tips and know-how into a session aimed at your skills and interests. Still new to encaustic, I left feeling much more confident in my foundational skills and with a new set of monotype techniques I’m excited to adopt back in my studio.
