My friend and colleague, Camille Davidson, has invited me to exhibit at the Gallery in Readfield. The Gallery in Readfield is located in central Maine. Camille organizes visual art exhibitions, artist talks, and musical performances in the space. Of course, for the time being, all events are virtual.

In the mission statement for the Gallery, Camille sets out her vision:

Each exhibition is designed and curated by the artist/s. The walls of this beautiful space are designed to give the public direct access to the fine art works of exhibiting local artists. The gallery in Readfield is a free venue for local, creative artists to show and share their work and process with their neighbors and visitors to central Maine, committed to minimizing fiscal barriers that separate the artist from the community and the community from art. The Gallery sees itself as a unique creative space between art merchants and artists.

My work will be exhibited online for the month of February at this link.

Camille is a superb artist as well as gallerist. She works in encaustic, cold wax, and other media. Take a look at her website to see how she makes visual magic, at http://camilledavidsonart.com

The Gallery takes no commission. It is a work of love, passion and desire to provide opportunity for fellow artists. All the work is for sale and can be purchased directly from me by contacting me.

Artists’ retail prices commonly include commission for the gallery or consultant who connects them with collectors. Since The Gallery at Readfield takes no commission, I have decided that 40% of the price of these works exhibited will be donated to my favorite charities:
