Here’s a detail of “Cool Clear Water” so i can share some explorations of Enkaustikos’ Duotone encaustic paints. They change color depending on the angle you look at them from, and have a metallic element that is fascinating to me. I often don’t know how to incorporate these elements, but in this piece it seemed to suit the nature of the surface of water and it’s reflections of light and air.
