I’m not much of a traveler. I’m happy to avoid airports, shuttles, and taxis. But, in February I flew to Chicago for the Women’s Caucus for Art Conference.  In the window seat from New England to the Midwest, I was thoroughly entertained by the patterns of the snow and ice. I can easily see these as drawings or paintings. I just love the fractal splitting of ice sheets and the winding of rivers and roads.
